Title IX is a federal law enacted in 1972 that prohibits sex discrimination in all university student services and academic programs. Title IX also forbids discrimination on the basis of sex in employment and recruitment for institutions receiving or benefiting from federal financial assistance. The federal government has determined that employees who have the authority to redress sexual violence, or whom a student could reasonably believe has this authority, or employees who have been given the duty of reporting incidents of sexual violence or any other misconduct, have an obligation to report Title IX violations to appropriate university officials. These individuals also have an obligation to provide resource information to the involved parties.

The Campus Security Authority online training is approximately fifteen minutes and is required to be completed annually by all mandatory employees and campus security authorities. To take the training:
- Visit and log in with your credentials.
- Select the Faculty/Staff tab.
- Select myTraining under Employee Training, Resources, & Professional Development.

University Prevention and Education Programs
Bystander Intervention
性色视频 offers bystander intervention programming to all students in an effort to ensure that each member of the campus community is invested in creating a safe campus environment for themselves and others. Program participants are instructed on safe options to preventing harm and intervening when a risk of sexual harassment exists.
Sexual Assault Prevention and Education
Incoming students are provided with an online education and training on awareness and risk reduction of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and consent in compliance with the Violence Against Women Act and the Clery Act.
Ongoing Training and Education
The Office of Civil Rights, Title IX & ADA Compliance (CTAC) offers ongoing sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation prevention training throughout the year to students, staff and faculty. In addition, training specifically focused on protected characteristic prevention and awareness is offered throughout the year upon request.
