Student Outreach & Support

Short-term support to long-term success.

Student Outreach & Support provides non-clinical case management for students facing strugles that are barriers to being the Shocker that they can be.

What do we do:

  • Assesses student needs
  • Facilitates referrals & care coordination
  • Evaluates and advocates for options and services to meet a student's needs through communication and available resources to promote student safety, wellness, personal care and academic success
  • Mandated reporters
  • Sexual Assault Victim Advocate
  • Short term support
  • Governed by FERPA

At the core, case management is about helping students overcome obstacles. We are not licensed therapists and someone who will do the work for you; however, we are here to help you along the way.

Who can make a report:

Anyone who feels a student is a threat to themselves and/or others, or is exhibiting behaviors disruptive to the community, can submit a report to the CARE Team.

Meet your SOS Team!

Our Student Outreach & Support staff are here to help support students, faculty, staff, parents, and supporters by proactively fostering an environment in which students feel comfortable seeking support and attaining their goals.
