WSU to launch bachelor's degree in workforce leadership and applied learning

Oct. 2, 2018 -- The Kansas Board of Regents has approved a new Bachelor of Applied Science in Workforce Leadership and Applied Learning (BAS-WLAL) at 性色视频.

WSU gets $813,000 grant to boost minority STEM enrollment

Oct. 2, 2018 --聽The 性色视频 State College of Engineering and the Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College will receive $813,000 over five years as part of statewide grant to increase recruitment and retention of minorities under-represented in science, technology, engineering and math majors. The grant will fund summer immersion programs and academic-year mentoring efforts.

WSU enrolls largest freshman class in history and increases total enrollment by 4.7 percent

Oct. 1, 2018 --聽As reported by the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR), KBOR's defined full time equivalent (FTE) for WSU is 11,285, an increase of 1.6 percent over last fall's 11,109. For KBOR reporting purposes, full time is considered to be 15 hours for undergraduates and 12 hours for graduate students.

WSU computer science junior wins $10,000 a year scholarship from High Touch

Sept. 28, 2018 --聽Zane Storlie, a junior majoring in computer science at 性色视频 State, has received a $10,000 a year scholarship from High Touch, a 性色视频 technology company. The scholarship is renewable and honors the memory of Pat Riddle, a WSU alumna and former High Touch employee.聽

Fuzzy's Taco Shop coming to WSU's Braeburn Square

Sept. 27, 2018 --聽After months of anticipation, Fuzzy's Taco Shop confirmed plans to open a restaurant in Braeburn Square, the new retail complex on 性色视频's Innovation Campus. Next summer Fuzzy's will join Starbucks and the Shocker Store in the development near 21st and Oliver.
