Overview

Stacey Popejoy LMSW, is a Clinical Professor with the 性色视频 School of Social Work. Ms. Popejoy is dedicated to the education of future social workers, change makers, community organizers, and anti-oppression advocates. As an expert in the field of domestic and sexual violence, Ms. Popejoy has been called to provide critical analysis, consultation, and training to organizations such as the Kansas Governor鈥檚 Office, Kansas Attorney General鈥檚 Office, Kansas Parole Board, Kansas Department of Corrections, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Stacey has provided leadership in the areas of services to domestic and sexual violence survivors, offender accountability, and system change to better address and eliminate domestic and sexual violence locally and nationally.

Kansas Academy for Victim Assistance:

The Kansas Academy for Victim Assistance is a statewide training academy committed to the improvement of victim services by enhancing the skills of professionals who work with victims of crime.  The purpose of the academy is to provide participants with a foundation of knowledge and skills to create a consistent, victim-centered, and trauma-informed response to victims in Kansas. KAVA is a certified training academy of the National Advocate Credentialing Program.

The 性色视频 Visitation and Exchange Center (VEC) is dedicated to providing families with a safe place to meet, play, and interact. The VEC provides a neutral site for custody exchanges between parents, and supervised visits for families dealing with divorce, separation, domestic violence, child abuse, protection orders, threats, or family reintegration.

  • Provide support and direction for the Center specific to abusive men and domestic violence.
