Overview
Alexander Freedland is an entrepreneur, technology investor and a cloud computing pioneer. He made a significant contribution to the development of the ideology and practice of open source technologies. Alex co-founded and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the OpenStack Foundation. Under his leadership, Mirantis, the company he founded, was for several years the number one contributor to the OpenStack project, one of the largest open source projects in the world.
