Why did you sign up to be a buddy?
My mom is an immigrant from Ukraine, and growing up, we hosted exchange students every year. Being surrounded by different cultures and nationalities was always a part of my life, and I loved those experiences. So, when I saw the Buddy Program, I knew it would be an incredible opportunity to continue that connection.

Why would you recommend the program to other students?
I'd recommend the Buddy Program to anyone because it's an opportunity to learn about different countries and cultures, build meaningful friendships across the globe, and become more connected to your campus community, which enhances your overall college experience.
What was th ebest experience you had while being a buddy?
My best experience so far has been seeing my buddy experience something completely new - something that might feel ordinary to as an American but is exciting and special for them. It's amazaing to witness someone enjoying my country in a way that reminds me not to take it for granted.
