Location

San Sebastian, Spain

The University of Deusto 鈥 San Sebastian Campus is located in San Sebastian (also known as Donostia) in Basque Country. Basque country, in norther Spain, has its own language, food, culture and way of life than the rest of Spain that you will experience living in San Sebastian. Just 12 miles from the France-Spain border, there is a strong French influence in this region. San Sebastian lies along a white sandy bay between Urgull and Igeldo hills. You鈥檒l find a great choice of cultural events and a strong regional character in this coastal city. The Old Town hosts a great scene of local eateries, markets and shops, as well as many landmarks around an impressive cathedral. From San Sebastian Cathedral to La Concha Beach, there is plenty to see and do in San Sebastian. San Sebastian has a population of about 200,000 and an oceanic climate with warm summers and cool winters.

Academics

Overview

The University of Deusto-Business School is located in San Sebastian, Spain while the University鈥檚 main campus is located in Bilbao, Spain. A selection of business classes are offered in English, as well as Spanish language classes at all levels. Exchange students are given the option to participate in an intensive Spanish language program prior to the regular semester at no additional cost. Deusto Business School has over 2,700 students. Students must pay for 12 U.S. credit hours at WSU per semester and enroll in the equivalent number of credits while on exchange.

Course Approval Form

All students will be required to complete a Course Approval Form prior to leaving for their study abroad program so that you have met with your Academic Advisor and are aware of what courses you will take during your program.
