Women's bowling remembers past, looks to future

As the chase for a national championship repeat inches closer, the 性色视频 women鈥檚 bowling team will take a special night to acknowledge their 2006-2007 title.

On Sunday, March 2, the Shocker Bowling Program will host an invitation-only dinner and ring ceremony to honor the special achievements of last season鈥檚 team.

The evening is designed to be a private, intimate affair with selected university guests, coaches and team members.

Guests expected to attend are former vice president for administration and finance Roger Lowe, vice president for campus life and university relations Ron Kopita and interim Rhatigan Student Center director Jim Herrman.

鈥淲e wanted to have a special night to honor the women with their national championship rings,鈥 said WSU head coach Gordon Vadakin.

Each team member will receive a custom-engraved 10-karat gold ring. Each ring will have the player鈥檚 initials engraved, in addition to the 2006-2007 National Champions wording on the side. Encircling a ruby stone in the middle of the ring are the words "National Champions."

The dinner and ceremony will be held at the Fox and Hound Pub and Grille at the Waterfront Parkway near 13th Street and Webb Road.

鈥淭he good folks at Fox and Hound stepped forth and provided a beautiful room and dinner for the team,鈥 said Vadakin. 鈥淭his will really be a nice evening for the ladies.鈥
