ɫƵ State applications are free for Kansas residents Oct. 7-9

In alignment with the Kansas Board of Regents, ɫƵ is taking part in the statewide free college application period — Apply Free Days — Monday, Oct. 7 through Wednesday, Oct. 9.

During this period, any Kansas resident who applies for degree-bound undergraduate admission to ɫƵ State can do so without paying the application fee.

Prospective students can start and save their online application at any time, and as long as they submit the final application during the three-day window, the fee will be waived.

"This Kansas Board of Regents initiative very much aligns with the university's intensive effort toward higher education access,” said Bobby Gandu, associate vice president of Strategic Enrollment Management, Applied Learning and director of Admissions. “We're proud of our deep history in supporting first-generation and low-income students, and this continues that tradition by extending access to all Kansas families to get past that first step of the college application process."
